If you’ve ever wanted longer lashes, we can help with a product called Latisse! Latisse is the only FDA-approved prescription treatment for people with short, thin or inadequate eyelashes. It’s a simple, once-a-day treatment you apply at home to the base of your upper eyelashes.
The active ingredient, bimatoprost, works to create longer, fuller and darker lashes by prolonging the growth phase of your eyelashes.
Patients typically see the best results in 12 to 16 weeks of treatment. Although it is a relatively new treatment, it was developed through years of research by Allergan, a pharmaceutical leader with over 60 years of expertise in prescription eye care products.
Latisse is not for everyone. Because of side effects and possible complications, Dr. Vickers requires an examination prior to writing the prescription. He will discuss your previous medical history and any cosmetic, medical and/or surgical treatments you have had in the areas around your eyes, as well as any future cosmetic or surgical procedures you are thinking about.
Dr. Vickers will let you know what to expect during and after treatment, so you can set realistic expectations. If you decide prescription Latisse is right for you, you can purchase it at the end of your visit.
